When the wind doesn't blow there are plenty of
alternate activities. Six days a week you can enjoy morning
yoga to limber up your body and calm your mind.
There are plenty of mountain bikes for your use and there
are some great rides to be had in the Sierras around La Ventana,
they'll even take you there by truck so you don't have the
uphill!
There area masseuse's who have lots of experience
and an intuitive touch that have clients extremely satisfied.
Sea kayaks and snorkeling gear are available for you to explore
the Sea of Cortez. Sightseeing /snorkeling trips to Island
Cerralvo or sport fishing trips can also be arranged for those
so inclined. Spanish lessons are available in the
mornings or surf the web with the wireless DSL coverage. Besides
all that, there's always a good book and a hammock under a
palm tree waiting for you...La Ventana is a great place to
relax and unwind. If you're looking for wild nightlife you'll
have to make it yourself because there's not much to be had
here. La Ventana nightlife consists of a soak in the hot tub
under a sky full of stars after a day of play! Of Course, La
Paz has some great bars, night clubs, and discos along the
waterfront esplanade and it's a short drive away.
